- Standard features (pages, blog, contact forms, basic e-commerce via WooCommerce) cover your needs.
When a custom Laravel build wins
Laravel is a professional PHP framework for building custom web applications. It's the right call when:
- You need custom logic — user accounts, dashboards, bookings, subscriptions, workflows.
- You're building a product or platform, not just a website.
- You need integrations — payment gateways, third-party APIs, AI features.
- Performance, security and scale matter as you grow.
A simple way to decide
Ask yourself: "Am I publishing content, or running an application?" If it's mostly content, WordPress is usually the fastest, most cost-effective path. If people will log in and do things, a custom Laravel build will serve you far better long-term.
